G2D Technologies has developed a Direct Optical Bonding process, sometimes Index Matching, to make LCD panels more rugged and viewable, even in direct sunlight. Our experience in Direct Bonding and film enhancements can greatly improve your TFTs.
G2D's unique soft Bond process always remains re-workable to eliminate scrap. The Bond will never yellow or crystallize. There are now over seven million LCDs in use with the G2D Direct Bond process. Unlike UV cured Bonding, The G2D process will never re-solvate.
For customers interested in Direct Optical Bond and other LCD enhancements G2D offers a Direct Bond Technology Licensing Program (TLP). The program allows manufacturers to bring the display enhancement process in-house without the need for an autoclave.
